Is Virtual World Direct
linked in any way with the
UK National Lottery?
It's easy. Just access an
online application form by
clicking on the ‘Play Now’
button at the top of this
page. Or by clicking on this
link:
PLAY
NOW
. Then, simply
follow the steps on the
form.
Yes. We are members of the
UK Lottery Council, an
organisation representing
the interests of various
companies and other bodies
engaged in lawful
lottery-related activities.
We adhere to their Code of
Conduct.
This is held in reserve and
used only In the event of a
future payment delay it
secures your syndicate place
so you never miss out on any
of your syndicate’s winnings
and your business position
within the genealogy.
It's an optional payment
No! If you give your number
to somebody to view your
site they will only be able
to see certain areas. All
your personal information:
genealogy, member details,
statement etc., are
protected within an
encrypted area of the web
site. Only members can
access this part, by
entering their membership
number and password.
A Business Cycle is a 4-week
spell. It is a more
convenient span of time for
us to work with than
calendar months. At the
beginning of each Cycle,
commission is calculated for
the previous Cycle. It is
then posted to each online
Member Account and payment
follows in the post.
In order to keep the
membership fee as low as
possible, we charge an
account-keeping fee of £1.50
when issuing a cheque.
Can I sign up members from
other countries?
Yes! You may sign up anyone
visiting your website. They,
in turn, can introduce other
members from around the
world.
As soon as you receive email
confirmation that your
application has been
accepted (normally within
seconds of you submitting
your online application
form) you will be playing in
the next UK Lotto or
EuroMillions draw. The draws
take place normally between
8.00pm and 10pm GMT. If you
are applying on the day of a
draw and your application is
accepted before 6.00pm GMT,
you will be playing in that
day’s draw, later on. If
your application is accepted
after the 6.00pm GMT
deadline, you will first be
playing in the draw after
that day’s draw.
A Playing Period is a 4-week
span. Your first Playing
Period begins the day you
join. For example, if you
began playing on the 1st of
May, your first Playing
Period would last 28 days,
ending on the 28th of May.
Then, on the 29th of May,
your second Playing Period
would begin, ending on the
25th of June.
All members are notified of
their wins by email within
hours of each draw. Your
wins are automatically
credited to your online
Member Account which you can
access at all times through
your Player Member website.
Winners of prizes of £1,000
or more will be contacted by
someone from our Member
Support Team.
Payment is made either by
cheque sent to the postal
address we hold on file for
you or by Click2pay. You can
choose at any time which
method you prefer. Winnings
of £500 or more must first
be collected from the
National Lottery operator
before we pass them on to
you. This process can take
as long as 10 working days
from the draw date.
Winnings of up to £500 do
not need to be collected
from the National Lottery
operator beforehand and are
paid within 7 working days
of the draw date.
All winnings are divided
equally between Syndicate
members: 49 in UK Lotto
Syndicates, 39 in
EuroMillions Syndicates.
No. Each of the other places
in your Syndicate is taken
by other members who could
be located anywhere in the
world. It’s not your
responsibility to find them.
No. When a new Syndicate
must be started to
accommodate a new member,
its numbers are entered in
the next draw as normal.
Unless a new Syndicate is
created on the day of a draw
in the four hour period
after 6.00pm GMT (see
above).
You can play for as short or
as long a time as you like;
there is no contract
specifying a period of
membership. If you wish to
stop playing, simply cancel
through your member’s
website. You are deemed to
have cancelled your
membership when we
acknowledge receipt of your
cancellation (usually by
return email). No further
payments are collected and
you’ll be notified of your
last draw date. Of course,
you are no longer eligible
for any lottery prize money
won by your Syndicate after
your last draw date.
If we do not receive your
e-Lottery Subscription
payment on the due date,
your Entry Protection
Deposit will be used to fund
your play. If you
subscription is not received
on the due date after your
Entry Protection has been
used, unfortunately you will
removed from your syndicate.
You will be notified of this
by email and SMS message to
your mobile phone (If we
have you mobile phone
